Groups and chamas

A chama or self-help group joins as one member, with officials who act for it.

One group, one member

The group joins the SACCO as one member, with its own member number. It saves, holds shares and pays by M-Pesa like any member.

Its officials act for it. Each one sees what their role needs in the member portal, and changes to the officials or the members' list go to the office as a request.

The group's members can also join the SACCO on their own, as individuals.
